SCENE 1. Ten years ago, there is a girl named ELISABETH crying in her mother’s grave. She has been crying in five days and she always stays in her mother’s grave. Only in the night she is in home locked herself in her room and the next morning she cries again in her mother’s grave. At the same time, there is a boy named RAFFAEL looked the girl crying in the grave. He always sees those moment four days in a row. Until the fifth day, the boy approaches the girl and gives her a rubik’s cube. He only asks to play these rubik’s cube until done. He also gives advice her not too sad. Her father calls the girl to hurry.

JOHN (shouting in the graveyard). ELI, go quickly into the car, We will miss the plane.

ELISABETH (crying in her mother’s grave). I just want to stay in here!

JOHN (shouting and starting his car’s machine). Come on! We’ll miss the plane!

RAFFAEL (whispering and giving the rubik’s cube). Here, play these rubik’s cube until done, I hope it can make you feeling better.

ELISABETH (still crying and then running into her father). Thanks!

RAFFAEL (his face is turning to smile). I hope we can see each other someday. Remember this, a loss could not be prevented, and the God have the best plan.

SCENE 2. Ten years later, when the alarm clock rang, RAFFAEL gets up and immediately walks into bathroom with spirit even though the sun is not fully rising in the sky. It is not his habit because he is usually lazy and sometimes he do not shower to go to campus. Today is the last orientation day in campus, and there is a preparation to Orientation Camp that will be held in Puncak. RAFFAEL is a junior student in Gribouille University in Bogor. After showered and dressed up, RAFFAEL goes to his friend’s home, ARMAND, his best friend since senior high school who also entered the same major. When he arrives in Armand’s home, this house is looked very quite without any people in it. RAFFAEL who already memorized the structure of that house walks into the back yard directly. When RAFFAEL wants to open the door, the door is opened by ARMAND.

RAFFAEL (screaming and shocking at the same time). Aaaaahh Holy Crap! I thought it is a thief!

ARMAND (shoking and then laughing). You are a thief! You enter someone’s house without permission! However, it is nice face when you screaming like that hahahaha.

RAFFAEL (rushing ARMAND). Come on! Take a shower now! I don’t want to go with you if you looks like a homeless.

ARMAND (go to the bathroom like lazy boy).Okay, wait for twenty minutes.

RAFFAEL (shouting and pound on the bathroom’s door). Armand,hurry up! I can’t wait any longer!

SCENE 3. After that, RAFFAEL and ARMAND go to the campus. In campus, they go to convention hall to attend the last day in the event named The Orientation Day. The event is made by senior to give information about Orientation Camp that will be held tomorrow. When the juniors are divided into some groups, RAFFAEL feels sad because he is not in the same group with the senior he like. Instead of RAFFAEL, ARMAND is in the same group with her. Her name is ELISABETH. RAFFAEL shocks when ARMAND looked very friendly with ELISABETH, but ARMAND knows that RAFFAEL likes ELISABETH. When the Orientation Day has been over, RAFFAEL do not go home with ARMAND. RAFFAEL thinks that ARMAND can not accompany him because he is in date with ELISABETH. RAFFAEL drives the car slowly until he sees ARMAND and ELISABETH enter the merchandise shop. RAFFAEL shocks and he do not realize that his car run into the roadblock. His car crashes in roadblock, and RAFFAEL is hospitalized.

RAFFAEL (hoping). I hope I’m in the same group with her.

ARMAND (praying and laughing). Ameeen hihihi.

ELISABETH (reading the list). ARMAND, you are in the same with me!

ARMAND (whispering to RAFFAEL). God answers my praying hehehe.

RAFFAEL (whispering to ARMAND). Say hi to her by me!

ARMAND (laughing). In your dream!hahaha.

ELISABETH (smiling to ARMAND). Hi! I’m really happy to see you again!

ARMAND (smiling and hugging ELISABETH). Hi my beautiful lady! Still cute huh? I don’t happy to see you, but I’m very very happy!hahahaha.

RAFFAEL (shoking). Why they are really close? Aaaaahhhh.

SCENE 4. In the next day, RAFFAEL is insisted to attend the Orientation Camp, despite his left hand is bandaged. He goes to campus by taxi, unfortunately he sees ARMAND and ELISABETH are going together to campus. In campus, RAFFAEL meets ARMAND and ELISABETH. ARMAND shocks when he see RAFFAEL’s condition.

ARMAND (shoking). What happened with your hand?

RAFFAEL. It’s alright, just a small injured.

ARMAND (still shocking). Are you sure that just a little injured? Why do you looks so terrible?

ELISABETH. If it is terrible, there are maybe a broken bone or at least it may crack.

ARMAND (shocking). Really? How can it be?

RAFFAEL. Hold it, hold it. Yeah, your smart girlfriend is right that my hands are broken, buy it is okay and it will healthy again tomorrow.

ARMAND (introducing his friend and smiling to respond Raffael’s statement). Oh, Sorry! This is LISA, my senior, who will be my tentor in the event later.

RAFFAEL (facing ugly). Hi, my name is RAFFAEL.

ELISABETH (smiling). Hi RAFFAEL, my name is LISA. ”

ARMAND (interrupting). Okay then, let’s go to the hall, the ceremony will start in a few minutes..

SCENE 5. They go to the hall immediately. During the way, ARMAND and ELISABETH look clearly making eye contact each other. This kind of situation has been known by RAFFAEL. Then, he is getting more angry, because ARMAND is already know that RAFFAEL likes ELISABETH at the first time of going to the campus. However, why do ARMAND become like this? As RAFFAEL knows as ARMAND’s bestfriend since in Senior High School that they never has a problem about a girl. When departing by bus, RAFFAEL feels little happy because ARMAND and ELISABETH do not sit together. ELISABETH gets into the bus at the last round that makes her must stand in the bus when the bus starts to move. Of course, RAFFAEL sits with ARMAND when ARMAND wants ELISABETH to sit beside him. Then, ELISABETH sits on the ARMAND’s seat, which is beside RAFFAEL. This situation makes RAFFAEL become nervous. He gives a code to ARMAND, but ARMAND does not care about it, he makes a conversation with ELISABETH. Although they are laughing together, but RAFFAEL just pretends to laugh. He thinks that ARMAND will give a chance to him to get along with ELISABETH, but it is clear that ARMAND wants to compare his gentle with him. Of course, in this situation, RAFFAEL will loose.

ARMAND (shouting to ELISABETH). Hey LISA, you can sit here and I will stand to replace your place..

ELISABETH (smiling). Thank you ARMAND, you always be my hero hahahaha.

ARMAND. You are lucky to get me as a man to replace your position in here. What if I were not a man? This two hours journey would make your feet injured, just like Raffael’s hand hahahaha.

ELISABETH. Hey, don’t say like that.

ARMAND (laughing). Hehehe I’m kidding!

RAFFAEL (pretending to smile). It’s okay.

SCENE 6. When they arrive in the peak, the participants and their tentors make a tend to sleep. This event has a theme of Orientation Camp, so there are no villa or hotel. RAFFAEL just watches his friends worked together, because his hand is still injured. Below the tree, RAFFAEL looks ARMAND and ELISABETH is joking together while build a tend. He is getting more curious why ARMAND can get so close with ELISABETH. When campfire begins, each group shows its performance. RAFFAEL shocks when ARMAND sings “Thank you for loving me” he asks ELISABETH to step on stage. RAFFAEL looks clearly that ARMAND and ELISABETH are making eye contact each other, again. RAFFAEL leaves the campfire and goes to his tend. RAFFAEL tries to sleep when ARMAND comes to RAFFAEL’s tend. With high tension, RAFFAEL talks sarcastic to ARMAND. RAFFAEL shouts ARMAND and his hand is ready to hit ARMAND. Before they fight, ELISABETH brakes up the fight but RAFFAEL falls down. ELISABETH helps RAFFAEL to get up and then ELISABETH shows a rubrik’s cube to RAFFAEL.

RAFFAEL (talking with sarcatics). As I know, a best friend never over take the girl that loved by his close friend, right?

ARMAND. It is absolutely right. Like our friendship, isn’t it?

RAFFAEL (shouting).You such a joke! You are briliant when you say that!

ELISABETH (breaking up the fight and helping RAFFAEL) Hey! Can you not to fight? I will show you something.

RAFFAEL (getting up). What?

ELISABETH (showing a stuff carefully). Do you remember with this stuff?

RAFFAEL (shoking). What? This toy, how can it be? Why this rubik’s cube is in your hand?

ELISABETH (smiling). Yes,you must know this cube. Finally, you know me well.

RAFFAEL (still shocking). Are you the girl in the grave ten years ago? Are you ELI?

ELISABETH. Yes, I am ELI or LISA. Actually, my name is ELISABETH. You are the boy who gave me the rubik’s cube. The boy who told me that a loss could not be prevented, and the God have the best plan.

RAFFAEL (starting to ask more explanations). And your relationship with ARMAND?

ARMAND (explaining softly). LISA is my friend when I is junior high school. She told me her old story, when her mother died and when she met you, a boy who helped her with his rubik’c cube. I string up every story and I can conclude that the boy is you. I also made a scenario so you can showed your jealousy hehehe.

RAFFAEL (shocking again). What? So, you are just acting? The eye contact? When you went to the merchandise shop?

ELISABETH (explaining well). Yes, we were just acting. All of these scenario were made by ARMAND. He wants to see your jealousy because he never see it and he bored with your flat live.

ARMAND. (smiling and hugging RAFFAEL). A best friend never over take the girl that loved by his close friend, and this is what happened with our friendship.

ELISABETH. And we are?

RAFFAEL (asking with embivalent). Do.. you.. love... him? Ehh.. I mean.. me?

ARMAND (answering RAFFAEL’s question). I love you so much, honey!hahahaha.

ELISABETH (laughing and answering RAFFAEL’s question). Hahahaha emmh.. Yeah, I love you since I understood why you give me your rubik’s cube.

ARMAND (laughing). Ohhh come on.. Don’t be so romantic! I’m here! You can be romantic later!hahahaha let’s go having dinner together!

ELISABETH (hugging ARMAND and RAFFAEL). hahaha okay! Let’s go!

RAFFAEL (smiling). I love you ELI!

ARMAND (answering with intimate intonation). I love you too, honey!

ELISABETH (slaping ARMAND and shouting) Hey!! I love you too RAFFA!

(Finally, ELISABETH and RAFFAEL can try to make relationship. ARMAND as a close friend of each other can give their relationship more colorful. The rubik’s cube ten years ago has already healed ELISABETH’s sadness. She finally understands why RAFFAEL gives her the rubik’s cube. They can through the problems although the God prepares it with a hard way. They can solve these problems with diligence, patience, and belief.)
